Drum Spice: common questions
Where your Drum Spice license lives, why there are two accounts, presets, offline use and installing on Windows.
Where is my Drum Spice?
Bought or claimed, Drum Spice sits in your account on the email you used. Sign in at audio-spices.com with that exact email, open Account and download it from your Downloads.
Why two accounts?
Drum Spice is one plugin made by two companies, so it has two sections and each activates with its own account on the same email. The Audio Spices section uses your Audio Spices password. The CELEST DSP section uses your CELEST DSP account.
Activate Drum Spice, step by step
Presets
Drum Spice 1.0.3 and later include 10 factory presets under MENU. Your own presets (MENU, then Save preset) go to the presets folder, which starts empty until you save your first one. On an older version, download the latest from your Account.
No internet on the studio computer
Drum Spice can't be activated offline. The offline method for our other plugins doesn't work for it, so activate Drum Spice on a computer with an internet connection.
Installing on Windows
- The Windows download is an .msi installer, not a zip. Double click it to install.
- Chrome may say the file "isn't commonly downloaded". Choose Keep.
- Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway.
"License operation failed. Please retry."
Both sections show this same message when activation doesn't go through. Check that you're online, that you're signing in with the email you bought or claimed with, and that the account has a password (see below). Still failing? Write to us with your DAW name and version, your operating system, and a screenshot of the plugin window.

The claim page crashes or won't load
Try another browser, or a private window in the one you use. Browser extensions and stored site data are the usual cause.
