Sesame - Step Slicer
A step-locked stutter slicer. Sixteen tiny piles drop seeds on the timeline, one per ratchet. Add a seed and the step splits finer, until the beat ratchets into a roll. Empty piles fall silent.
Four piles or sixteen, eighth notes or sixteenths: the pattern locks to the host tempo and loops at its own length. Each pile holds up to 8 seeds, or 16 with More than 8 seeds switched on. RANDOM scatters a fresh pattern and never leaves a pile empty, with a density slider underneath from sparse to dense. In MOTION a drag moves one thing at a time, level or pan, and a double click resets the slice. Click, stack, ratchet.
