Activate Drum Spice
Drum Spice is one plugin made by two companies, CELEST DSP and Audio Spices. Your purchase opened an account with both, under your email, so you just activate each section once.
Drum Spice is a drum chain built by two companies in one plugin. The CELEST DSP section brings the shape (EQ, compressor and tone) and the Audio Spices section brings the flavor (doubler, slap delay, drum room and drive). Each section carries its own license and activates on its own, so there are two quick activations, one per section.
You already have both accounts
When you bought or claimed Drum Spice, we opened an account for you at Audio Spices and at CELEST DSP automatically, with the email you used. There is nothing to register, and both accounts already hold your Drum Spice license. You may also find an email from each company inviting you to set a password.
Activate, step by step
- Sign in at audio-spices.com, open Account, and download Drum Spice from your Downloads (if you own The Spice Rack, its installer includes Drum Spice). Run the installer.
- Open Drum Spice in your DAW. Each section shows an ACTIVATE button. You can also reach both from MENU, under License.
- Click ACTIVATE on the Audio Spices section. Your browser opens audio-spices.com: sign in with your Audio Spices account and click "Activate this device". The section switches to LICENSE ACTIVE.
- Click ACTIVATE on the CELEST DSP section. Your browser opens CELEST DSP's activation page: sign in with the same email on your CELEST DSP account and approve this device.
- Back in your DAW, both sections read LICENSE ACTIVE. That's it.
Never set a password?
Because the accounts were created for you, they may not have a password yet, and you can't sign in to activate without one. For Audio Spices, go to audio-spices.com/login, type your email, tap 'Forgot?' and set a password from the email. For CELEST DSP, use the forgot password link on CELEST DSP's sign in page with the same email. Then click ACTIVATE again.
While a section waits for you it shows "Waiting for browser activation". Closed the browser by mistake? Open MENU, go to License and choose "Retry Audio Spices activation in browser" (or the CELEST DSP one).
