Windows formats & ASIO / latency
VST3 and AAX (64-bit) on Windows. Buffer size and ASIO driver are set in your DAW; delay compensation keeps things aligned.
On Windows the plugins install as 64-bit VST3 (to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\) and AAX for Pro Tools (to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\).
Audio Spices plugins are effects. They sit in your DAW's signal path and don't talk to your audio interface directly. So your ASIO driver and buffer size are chosen in your DAW, not in the plugin. A smaller buffer means lower round-trip latency.
Each plugin reports any processing latency to the host, so your DAW's plugin delay compensation keeps everything in sync. (Anise's pre-delay is an intentional, musical delay, not latency.)
