See which letter is which, how long a phrase can be, which characters play, and what Ginger can't do.
See which letter is which
Open the preset menu in Ginger's top bar and turn on EXPOSE CHARACTERS. Each group of dots and dashes on the screen then shows the letter it came from.
How long can a phrase be?
The phrase box takes up to 33 characters, spaces included.
Which characters play?
Letters A to Z and numbers 0 to 9 have Morse codes in Ginger. Other characters, such as punctuation, symbols or accented letters, have none and are skipped.
Can Ginger turn audio back into text?
No. Ginger turns text into rhythm; it doesn't decode Morse from audio.
Typing in the phrase box in Logic Pro or GarageBand
If typing doesn't reach the phrase box in Logic Pro or GarageBand, write to us and tell us your Logic or GarageBand version.
