Crash or “failed validation” on load
Update to the latest build, re-run the installer to clear the AU cache + quarantine, and send us the details.
Most load-time issues are solved by updating and reinstalling:
- Update to the latest version from your account. Many crashes are already fixed in newer builds.
- macOS “failed AU validation”: re-run the installer (it clears the AU cache and quarantine flags) and restart your DAW.
- If you copied the plugin by hand, macOS may have quarantined it. Reinstall with the .pkg instead of moving files manually.
Older Windows PCs
On an older Windows computer, especially one with Intel built in graphics, update the graphics driver from Intel or your PC maker, then open the plugin again. Still crashing? Write to us with your PC model.
If it still crashes, email support@audio-spices.com with your OS, your DAW + version, and the plugin name + version (shown in the plugin's About panel). A crash log helps us a lot.
